*The Process*
Each letter on every piece is hand-stamped one at a time. This makes every piece unique and a little different. The spacing and alignment of the letters varies from piece to piece which is meant to add charm and character and not meant to be seen as a defect. The silver is then textured and oxidized so the lettering stands out. After this, each piece is polished by hand and the finished product is assembled and packaged.
*Cleaning*
Sterling silver is an alloy containing metals that react with chemicals found in air and produce tarnish; high moisture levels, exposure to sunlight and contaminants such as salt water increase this reaction. Take steps to protect your sterling findings by keeping them in airtight packages, use tarnish-resistant products (such as tarnish tabs or strips) that absorb harmful chemicals, and store sterling findings in a cool, dry place. Most tarnish is easily removed by polishing with a mild abrasive or soaking in an anti-tarnish solution. Polishing cloths and pads are easy to use and will quickly restore the look of your sterling silver piece to its original condition. Polishing pads can be used until they are completely blackened.
*Care*
Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.
Do not wear your sterling silver pendant while showering, swimming and/or sleeping.
Try to avoid its direct contact with cosmetics, hairspray and perfume.

Where do I tell you how to personalize my item?
After selecting your options from the drop down menus, add the item to your cart. There will be a "notes" box at checkout. Tell us all of order details in the "notes" box: what to stamp, letter style, chain length, birthstones, etc. More is better here, so tell us everything we should know about your order to make it correctly.
Can I see a proof or preview of my item before shipment?
Unfortunately no. Due to our high volume of orders received, we just don't have the time and resources to allocate one person to send proofs for each order received. But please contact us if you are concerned about an order.
How long does it take for my order to be completed?
We do our very best to get items shipped as soon as possible. Handmade items take about 7-10 business days. Once the items is completed, the item is shipped via USPS first class mail which takes on average about 3-5 business days. If you are needing your item sooner, you can upgrade both he processing and shipping times at checkout. Simply choose your upgrade from the "shipping upgrades" tab at the end of the checkout process.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Gift wrapping is available for a small fee, in which each jewelry item will be wrapped in a box with ribbon or something similar, depending on the piece. Non jewelry items will be wrapped in an organza bag, cotton pouch with drawstring or small box. All other items are wrapped in gold foil tissue paper.
Im sending directly to the recipient, can you include a note?
Yes! Just let us know the note you want us to include, and we will include it for you! As always, we are a green company so we don't send a paper receipt unless requested.
How do I know when my order has shipped?
Etsy will send you an email and notification through etsy when your order has shipped. This will include a tracking number so you can track your package all the way to its destination. Please remember to check your email on file both in order and on etsy to make sure it is up to date!
What additional fees will I incur for international orders?
This depends on your country. All countries have their own VAT tax and import tax, both of which the buyer is responsible for. Usually countries will hold the item until those taxes have been paid. This is a fee that is paid directly to your country and we have no way of prepaying this or providing an exemption. We do not know any specifics on this so please contact your local customs agency/post office.
Who do I contact if my item is delayed during shipment?
If you received free shipping, your item was shipped via USPS First Class Mail. While the post office generally needs 3-5 days for transit and delivery, this is not a guarantee. We are not responsible for packages taking longer than this. In fact, during the holiday season, you should expect delays up to 1 week. We have no control over these delays. If you are needing your item by a specific date, we suggest upgrading your shipping at checkout to FedEx Express. We have made this option very affordable for you.
What should I consider when submitting a handwriting sample?
1. Take a photo of your handwriting in natural light (near window is the best option)
2. Try to keep letters mostly uniform in size (eliminate exaggerated tails on "y" "j" etc). The writing can be larger in overall size if all the letters are more uniform.
3. Focus the cursor on the writing itself, before snapping the photo with your phone. If you zoom into the letters - it should not look fuzzy or pixelated when in focus!
Sizing details
All our rings are sized and calibrated on a mandrel one at a time, so our sizes are pretty exact and true to size. If your ring is too small or too large, please contact us for further details on how to return the ring for the correct size. This may require a small fee.
